I blog about faith, adversity, suffering and failure–and podcast about Mud Stories–all so you can know YOU are not alone.
Over a decade ago, in the aftermath of having an affair, God’s Mercy Found Me. I was profoundly changed by His grace, and I will never be the same.
That’s why I’m a grace-clinger, mercy-lover and champion of second chances. I long for you to know, in the midst of your pain or doubt, how very loved you are. That you’re forgiven, and that God’s grace is will meet you always, right where you are.
I live in Southern California, with my civil-engineering-general-contracting-guitar-playing husband and five children. And between the everyday fun and messes too, there are never any dull moments!
Two days every week I commute to a local hospital, where I work as a registered nurse in labor & delivery. And what an incredible privilege it is to help laboring moms and witness the birth of new life.
It is such a sacred moment and miracle each and every time!
I love heart-felt chats, a hot cup of tea, peonies and wildflowers, and personality tests. I’m an ESFJ on the Meyers Briggs Type Indicator, and according to Strengthsfinder 2.0, my top five strengths are: Communication, Relator, Harmony, Individualization, and Responsibility.
As I write and podcast in this place, I desire for you to have hope–hope in your relationships, in your parenting, in your job, and within your own heart. That no matter your story, or the mud you’re facing today–in times where you wonder if you’re good enough or even loved at all–that you would come to know you are. You are SO loved, and SO forgiven, and God’s grace is always enough.
YOU are never, ever alone!
