This week has been filled with captivating my thoughts …
replacing ideas of comparison and jealousy,
quieting negative chatter and internal noise,
removing worry and destructive thoughts,
And exchanging them all with things that are true, noble, right, pure, lovely, admirable, excellent, and praiseworthy.
Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy— think about such things. Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you. Philippians 4:8-9 (NIV)And while I haven’t gotten it perfect every time, there was progress indeed–progress because He met me there. His Spirit empowered me in the crucial moments, and as He promised, He was with me … the God of all peace, was. with. me.
